Language activity idea:
Try playing "draw, don’t say." Describe something without naming it, like “It’s something round that you kick” (a ball), and have your child draw it. Then, let your child describe something for you to draw! This fun game helps boost language development. You can also extend it to literacy by asking, “What’s the first sound in ‘ball’?” or drawing words that rhyme with it. You can also clap out the syllables in “ball” and practice counting with numbers 1-3 by drawing them on the board and asking your child to circle the correct number.

Fine-motor skills:
This drawing board is a great way to practice holding the stylus with the pincer grip, helping to improve fine motor skills.
