I heard of simprove from Bridie Connellan and my go dr Sheelagh Centric medical centre Castleknock. My nearest meaghers pharmacy was Kinvara Pharmacy off Navan rd Fublin 7 where I found my experience there very stressful as outlet it was too rushed for my liking . In middle of purchase my assistant a small lady rattled everything off at 200 mph and ran off before I’d completed purchase for a break So left me high and dry to re queue up and told me I could do my order on line . My transaction was complicated as I was buying supply feb to sept mist of which to go to Spain as you don’t deliver there and it’s not available in Spain . I bought it as Iam 74 yrs old and was not on day in good health so needed to Be so respected which I was not . I’d get much better customer service and respect in my 2 local pharmacies in Castleknock and Lydl in Castleknock . I never received confirmation that I’m a member of neahers club despite completing an application form which Kinvara pharmacy said they would post on Also my luggage . Ie as couriers would not accept do I had to check In a 10 kilo case with domprove only . Musgraves supply Supervalue / Musgraves supplies to my local supermarket the Good Co a Spsnish supermarket chain with supermarket foods eg Supervalue Flahavans porridge 1 kilo par bag . Would you confer going the same as I’m told you supply Dunnes stores in irl my local Dunnes stores in Mijas Costa Fuengirola supplies Dunnes stores from URL products but is a separate entity ie a dp vo in Mijas Costa . I would be very happy to discuss by tel my awful Experience at Kinvara pharmacy and getting further supplies . My dr here says I also needs para pro biotic . What is contained in Simprove as I find your website very vague . It seems strange, that when I purchase 2 x packs of product in one transaction, I then have to apply to have the free pack arranged for collection from the issuing pharmacy. Why not issue the thrid pack at the time of purchase of the two boxes?

Purchased due to surgery and the recommendation to take preobiotics for recovery. I am only on week 3 but I have had no post surgery gut issues so far. I don't know if I would have had issues without Symprove but decided not to risk it. I have a 12 week supply so I'll see how I go after that.

Received the wrong flavour

Regular customers should be better treated. I am seriously thinking of stopping my use of Symprove. There should be a bigger discount the more often that you buy.

Since I started taking Symprove I've had less bloating & feel much better.

Fantastic offer when purchasing Symprove. However the process to claim the 4 weeks supply is very cumbersome. Much easier for consumer to take home with original purchase.

Good product- quite expensive but i find it quite good.only issue that when i went to order my last 4 week pack, the wrong flavour was delivered (i just provided my order number when requesting the last 4 week pack but didnt reference the flavour as assumed the same would be issued to the first 8 weeks). Not a big issue but just a gentle reminder for those sending it out to make sure they issue the same flavour. But just in summary great product and meaghers are very efficient and good to deal with. thanks

I’ve been on Symprove for a long time now and have loved it I felt it had made a difference to my system. But this batch I got didn’t taste the same as before I’m not sure why as it’s the same flavour as I always get. I also feel it’s not working as well this time.

Very efficient delivery of free Symprove. However, in the era of climate change and need to reduce fossil fuels would strongly recommend that customers collect free Symprove at nearest pharmacy and not waste time money and create CO2 emissions by using Courier for delivery of same. I strive to reduce my carbon footprint and suggest Meaghers should also , in its supply chain and procurement business and customer interactions , whenever possible.

I have been enjoying the benefits of Symprove now for 5 years and would not be without it.

Just a little background and history to get started. I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s around five years ago, it started with loss of balance and feet shuffling. Night visitors, a little insomnia and that damned ginger cat during the day, I had for sometime noticed a loss of dexterity and motivation. So the diagnosis was no surprise. I started on the lower dose of sinemet three times a day and azilect once in the morning to help with the gait when walking. My glum companions started visiting me again at night So my medication was increased to include a half sinemet at night and my new chums disappeared for a couple of years. During this time I started to develop fairly regular bouts of constipation and from anecdotal reports I thought this was an unwelcome and uncontrollable part of Parkinson’s disease. Around December 2022/January 2023 both my night visitors started to return and my constipation became a little more chronic. I controlled the constipation somewhat with two senokot tablets at night and sometimes one in the morning. After a visit to my neurologist my sinemet dose was increased to sinemet plus and whilst my nightly visitors disappeared my constipation increased significantly to a point that it felt at times more like peritonitis. At around about this time I joined Parkinson’s Ireland and whilst I could not attend I tuned in to the Dublin branch AGM at the Clayton hotel. All of the presentations were relevant and extremely enlightening to me and focused on gut health and the links to Parkinson’s. I was especially intrigued with the presentation by Oonagh O’Hagan CEO Meaghers pharmacy group on the benefits of Symprove. This coupled with dietary and exercise recommendations from the other contributors set me on a path of enlightenment. my normal breakfast consisted of coffee and some toast with my butter, and marmalade. I balanced this with some prunes and the occasional actimel. For the last twelve months my day starts with the recommended shot of Symprove, followed ten minutes later with prunes, a pear unpeeled and a tub of activia muesli. After only two or three days my regular daily bm returned "placebo effect" was my first thought. but I have now been on this regime for twelve months and have never missed a daily bm. I eat regularly with no restriction during the day and have built up my daily walk back to a minimum of 8,000 steps from almost no activity earlier in the year.
